State police - Montville

Kenneth Tellier, 70, of 1 N. Fifth Ave., Taftville, was charged Tuesday in Norwich with engaging an officer in pursuit, evading responsibility, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to drive at a reasonable distance and failure to carry registration.

Waterford

Brian Hines, 30, of 56 Harris Road Ext., Salem, was charged Wednesday with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and driving with a suspended license.
