Lyme — A Lyme man has been identified as the driver killed in a single-car crash on Route 156 on Wednesday afternoon.

John Tracy, 78, of 3 Cove Road was traveling south when he struck a large rock and utility pole off the left shoulder in front of 27 Hamburg Road. He was the sole occupant of the car at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
