Norwich man charged in connection with theft of firearms

Norwich — A city man was arrested Saturday for his alleged role in a Dec. 28 burglary in which multiple firearms were stolen, police said.
Timothy Griffin, 30, of 48 Division St. was charged at 1:15 p.m. Saturday with conspiracy in stealing of a firearm and conspiracy in the sale of a dangerous weapon. He was held on a $50,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear April 20 in Norwich Superior Court.
Police said on Dec. 28, police were called to a residence for a reported burglary in which more than 20 firearms were stolen. No information was available Saturday on whether further arrests are anticipated.
