Man struck by lightning in Stonington

Stonington — A man was struck by lightning at his Barnes Road house about 6 a.m. Friday, police said.

The man was conscious and alert after the incident, and reported a burn on his left arm, according to Stonington police Capt. Todd Olson.

The man declined to speak with The Day.
