UPDATED: One person dies in I-395 accident in Norwich

Norwich — State police said one person has died in a motor vehicle accident Saturday evening on I-395 southbound around Exit 11.

Police said another person was taken to the William W. Backus Hospital with injuries.

The accident occurred about 7:16 p.m. On their Twitter page, state police had said a vehicle rolled over with entrapment and life-threatening injury. State police warned drivers to reduce speed and expect lane and possible highway closures in the area.

No further information was immediately available.
