Groton — Town police on Friday will begin an aggressive drunk driving enforcement campaign set to last through the Fourth of July holiday.
Police said their increased enforcement will target intoxicated drivers as well as speeding, seat belt, distracted driving and other vehicle violations.
The state’s “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” initiative aims to reduce the number of alcohol-related crashes.
