William Tate, 46, of 56 Long Society Road, Preston, was charged Tuesday with two counts of violation of a traffic signal and one count each of driving with a suspended license and failure to carry license.

Jeremy Marcella, 19, of 11 Riverview Road, Niantic, was charged Thursday with possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and public possession of liquor by a minor.

Jahmil Smith, 19, of 10A Hillcrest St., Norwich, was charged Wednesday with misuse of plates, failure to carry minimum insurance, driving an unregistered vehicle, failure to display plates and driving without a license.
