No serious injuries reported in three-vehicle crash in New London

New London — Police are investigating a three-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in the area of 579 Montauk Ave. that left no one seriously injured.

One person was extricated from one of the vehicles, and two people were then taken by ambulance to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, as a result of the crash, police said.

Emergency responders went to the scene after the New London Emergency Communication Center received several emergency calls reporting the accident about 1:46 p.m.

Police ask anyone with information related to the accident to call the department at (860) 447-5281.
