Portion of Route 2A closed in Preston as crews work to replace pole

Preston — A portion of state Route 2A was closed for several hours Monday after an early morning crash left a pole snapped, according to the state Department of Transportation.

DOT officials said crews were working between Harris Fuller and Middle roads to replace the pole. The road was reopened by 12:30 p.m.
