    Groton City

    Jerome M. Taylor, 27, of 244 Willetts Ave., New London, was charged Monday with third-degree promoting prostitution, weapons in vehicles, impersonation of a police officer and possession of a controlled substance.

    Ashley L. Harnois, 24, of Woonsocket, R.I., was charged Monday with prostitution.

    Gerard Chandler, 29, of no certain address was charged Tuesday with five counts of second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Thomas Defranco, 52, of 38 Courtland Drive, Groton, was charged Tuesday with failure to obey a traffic control signal and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    Benjamin Nazario, 36, of 77 Brainard St. was charged Monday with tampering with evidence, interfering with an officer, possession of narcotics and sale of narcotics.

    Jonathan Daniel Tefft, 25, of 9 Woodsea Place, Waterford, was charged Monday with first-degree criminal trespass and first-degree criminal mischief.

    Zachary Waryck, 27, of no certain address was charged Monday with first-degree criminal trespass and first-degree criminal mischief.

    Christopher Moore, 28, of 325 Huntington St. was charged Monday with two counts of second-degree failure to appear in court and first-degree failure to appear in court.

    Usef Omari, 29, of 134 Montauk Ave., first floor, was charged Monday with disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening, possession of a dangerous weapon, first-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief.

    Jonnathan Rivera, 22, of 165 Willetts Ave. was charged Sunday with second-degree breach of peace.

    Joseph Vanterpool, 45, of 835 Montauk Ave., Apt. 1, was charged Sunday with criminal violation of a protective order, second-degree strangulation, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and interfering with a 911 call.

    Stonington

    Edwin Baez, 26, of 232 Franklin St., Norwich, was charged Monday with first-degree stalking and criminal violation of a protective order.
