Norwich woman arrested on assault charge

Norwich — A local woman was arrested on assault and other charges early Sunday morning following a domestic violence incident which left a man with multiple lacerations to his hands from a knife, police said.
Justina Marin, 25, of 392 Norwich Ave. was charged at 1:45 a.m. with second-degree assault, possession of a dangerous weapon and second-degree breach of peace. She was held on a $75,000 cash bond and is scheduled to be arraigned in Norwich Superior Court Tuesday.
Police said the alleged assault occurred at her home and the man sustained non-life threatening injuries.
