    Truck fire slowed traffic on I-395 in Norwich Monday morning

    Norwich — Traffic was slowed on Interstate 395 south between exits 18 and 14 Monday morning as crews tended to a tractor trailer that caught fire.

    State police said no one was injured in the blaze, which began shortly after 9 a.m. about a half-mile beyond Exit 18.

    Police initially had closed two lanes in the area, but by 9:45 a.m. just one lane remained closed.

    Photos of the wreck show the affected unit was a Commodity Carriers truck hauling a Lay’s trailer.
