Norwich — Police, fire and medical crews responded to the Walmart store for a possible drug overdose victim.

First responders were called to the store about 1:25 p.m. for the report of an unresponsive person in a vehicle. Through their initial investigation, police determined it appeared to be an overdose, Deputy Chief Christopher D. Ferace said. He said patrol officers and detectives were at the scene.

The name of the deceased has not yet been released, pending notification of kin, Ferace said.
