5K run to cause road closures Saturday in Ledyard

New London — The Color Me Fall Fest 5K Run will cause two road closures about 11 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Police said state Route 117 will be closed between Ledyard Center School and Bill Library for five to 10 minutes at the start of the race, while Colonel Ledyard Highway will be closed between Ledyard Center and Lambtown Road for about an hour.

Police ask motorists to expect delays and use caution in the area.
