Shoreline fire departments working on fire at Clinton home

CLINTON — Fire Departments from Clinton, Old Saybrook and Madison are working to put out a fire at 57 Evergreen Park in Clinton.

The Clinton Fire Department responded to the address at 8:30 Sunday morning after reports of heavy smoke and called in backup from nearby departments.

Fire officials could not confirm whether anybody was at the mobile home Sunday morning, but command reports said there was one person at home at the time of the call and that they had received CPR from emergency responders.
