    Two people shot in car after leaving Stamford nightclub

    STAMFORD, Conn. — Two people were shot in their car early Sunday morning after leaving a Stamford nightclub.

    The Hartford Courant reports (http://cour.at/1Ox6C5w) police responded around 2:30 a.m. to Stamford Hospital, where the victims received treatment for multiple gunshot wounds.

    The 21-year-old woman and her 28-year-old boyfriend told police they were driving away from a Greenwich Avenue nightclub when someone pulled up alongside them and shot at their car nine times. The woman drove herself and her boyfriend to the hospital.

    The woman was shot twice, once in her abdomen and once in her leg. She's listed in stable condition.

    The man was shot six times in the leg, groin, arm and abdomen. His condition wasn't immediately available.

    Police haven't released their identities.
