WINDSOR LOCKS (AP) — State police say two Connecticut brothers have been arrested for allegedly shouting slurs and threatening a Jewish family at Bradley International Airport.

Police at the airport said they were notified shortly after midnight Thursday that 27-year-old Nicholas Diorio and 29-year-old Anthony Diorio shouted slurs at the family as they were leaving the airport.

The brothers, who live in Prospect, face charges of intimidation based on bigotry or bias, breach of peace and interfering with police. They each posted $10,000 bail and are scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 9 in Enfield Superior Court.

Police said the victims avoided a physical confrontation with the brothers, but took photos of them and the license plate of their vehicle.

The Anti-Defamation League condemned the incident.

It was not immediately clear if the brothers have retained attorneys.
