Matthew Marinelli, son of Dawnlyn and Ted Begun of Colchester and David Marinelli of Stonington, grandson of Diane and Matthew Kierys Sr., of Waterford, and Frank Marinelli of Sebastian, Fla., exchanged vows with Samantha Powley, daughter of Debra Powley of Colchester, David Powley of Manchester, and Erwin Olszewski of Colchester, at 4 p.m. on Feb. 8, 2014.

Best man: Derek Grundmann.

Maids of honor: Erica Powley and Lisa Viccaro, bride's sisters.

Bridesmaids: Kristina Carta, Faith Gilligan, Jennifer Paganetti, Jennifer Zizzamia and Amanda Miller, groom's sister.

Groomsmen: Adam Blinderman, Jake Gregory, Andy Kent, Nick Viccaro, bride's brother, Jeremy Collett, groom's cousin, and Daniel Marinelli, groom's brother.

Ring Bearer: Hayden Miller, groom's godson.

Flower girls: Shea Sweet, Sydney Viccaro and Haylee Jansky, bride's nieces.

Ceremony was held in the Chapel on-site. Reception took place in The Crystal Ballroom at The Inn at Villa Bianca in Seymour. Blessing was given by Jerry "Unk" Collett.

Bride and groom recently relocated to Florida.

The bride is a graduate of University of Hartford and Hoffman Heart Institute; School of Cardiac Ultrasound. She is employed as a cardiac sonographer at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

The groom attended UCONN Avery Point, held title of first mate on several charter fishing boats in Connecticut, holds a captain's license, and is dedicating himself to competitive bass fishing and furthering his education while pursuing entrepreneurship for commercial fresh water fisheries in Florida.
