Man critically injured in early morning Stonington crash

Stonington - A 25-year-old Pawcatuck man was seriously injured this morning after he was ejected from his vehicle during an early morning crash on Greenhaven Road.
Brendan Huard of River Crest Drive was traveling south on Greenhaven when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, police said. Stonington police, Wequetequock Fire Department and Westerly Ambulance responded to the scene at 2:46 a.m.
Huard was taken to The Westerly Hospital and later transferred by Life Star helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital where, Stonington police said, he was listed in critical condition.
