Lynn Haney is the author of a dozen books. Her works include: The Lady is a Jock; (profiles of pioneering women jockeys), Naked at the Feast; the first major biography of Josephine Baker (optioned by Diana Ross), and A Charmed Life; a biography of Gregory Peck (chosen as a Today’s Best Nonfiction Condensed Book by Reader’s Digest.). Before writing fulltime, Haney worked for Christian Dior-Paris, the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York Times and CBS-TV News. Currently, she is writing a memoir titled Sneaking into the Movies. In addition to penning her own books, Haney conducts workshops and coaches writing on a one-to-one basis. Her students include novelists, screenwriters, entrepreneurs, students and seniors. She is also a professional speaker and host of Creative People on GCTV.
