As I read the Day on Sunday I had to wonder why the article “Candidates stick to script, if not the truth,” (Nov. 8), was deemed front page news?

I guess the paper lacked any important news. The left again is trying desperately to demonize the Republican candidates and have had to dig deep to throw something out to see if it sticks and of course The Day perpetuates it.

As this president has proven if you say something enough it’s true, i.e.; if you like your plan you can keep it, ISIS is a junior varsity team, Islam is a peaceful religion, Republicans have a war on women and are racist and will eat your children, to list a few.

The things the author of the article points out as lies are so insignificant in the spectrum of what is happening in our country and the lies being told by this president.

If The Day wanted to do articles on lying politicians they should write about Hillary Clinton, but then that would take up a whole page. Don’t get me wrong, a lie is a lie but at best this article deserves no more than a back page somewhere.
