    Pre-game preview: Eastern Washington

This is sort of a strange stretch of the schedule for the UConn Huskies.

Starting with last Sunday's game at Washington, they play three out of four on the road. Their only home game is today at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport where they've never played before.

They open American Athletic Conference play with a Texas road trip, visiting Houston on New Year's Eve and SMU on Saturday.

    Here's a pre-game preview of today's game:

Records: Eastern Washington 5-5, No. 15 UConn 10-1

Last game: Eastern Washington lost at Seton Hall, 92-70, Sunday; UConn won at Washington, 82-70.

-- UConn’s Niels Giffey and Seiferth are both from Berlin, Germany. They're good friends.
