The spirit of New London on view at Studio 33

An exhibition opening Thursday at Studio 33 Art & Frame Gallery aims to embody the spirit of New London. "Paint The Town New London" features art by Guy Roger Clements, Lori McClain, Robert Hauschild, Fran Baldwin, William Prensky, Gigi Genovese and Maurene Kennedy. It starts with a reception from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and the show runs through Nov. 18. The gallery at 140 Bank St., New London, is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Mon.-Wed., 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Thurs., and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sat. Visit studio33gallery.com.
