    New London resident charged with possession of marijuana, operation of drug factory

    Larry Jackson Jr., of 3 Marshall Place in New London, was arrested and charged Saturday, June 1, 2013, with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and operation of a drug factory.

    New London - New London police officers executed a narcotics-related search warrant 8 a.m. Saturday at 3 Marshall Place and arrested Larry Jackson Jr. after seizing drugs, arms and drug paraphernalia, according to Deputy Chief Peter Reichard.

    Jackson was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and operation of a drug factory. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.

    The press release said officers seized approximately nine ounces of marijuana, a fully loaded 12-gauge shotgun, multiple boxes of ammunition and drug paraphernalia consistent with marijuana distribution. The New London Vice and Intelligence Section, VIS, and patrol officers also seized $7,218 in cash, two motorcycles and a Porsche Boxster.
