    More hardware for Maya

UConn's Maya Moore poses with The Associated Press Player of the Year trophy Saturday at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Moore is the third two-time winner of the award. She also won the Wade Trophy, given to the outstanding player in NCAA Division I, for the third time and was named to the 10-player State Farm All-America team.

Indianapolis - It is customary for Saturday at the Final Four to be dotted with awards presentations, loosely translated into the Maya Moore Invitational in 2011.

Moore earned virtually all the hardware possible, a prelude to the UConn women's foray into another national semifinal tonight at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Moore became the first player in the history of the game to win the Wade Trophy, given to the game's best player, for a third straight year. She won the Lowe's Senior Class Award, given for "community, classroom and competition." She was named The Associated Press Player of the Year. And she was part of the 10-player State Farm All-America team.

Moore accepted the honors at various moments throughout the day, her teammates supporting her faithfully.

"My teammates celebrate the things I do more than I do," Moore said after the Wade Trophy honor. "This is because of them, the coaching staff, my family and my grandfather, of course."

Moore's grandfather, Robert Moore, sat in the back of the room and cheered louder than all the others.

UConn coach Geno Auriemma was one of three recipients for The Associated Press Coach of the Year award, sharing it with Stanford's Tara VanDerveer and Miami's Katie Meier.

Auriemma also had the players sitting in the audience as he accepted his award, treated to a "you are sooooo good" from them, repeating a line Auriemma often gives them.

Joining Moore on the All-America team: Shekinna Stricklen (Tennessee), Danielle Adams (Texas A&M), Skylar Diggins (Notre Dame), Brittney Griner (Baylor), Amber Harris (Xavier), Shenise Johnson (Miami), Jantel Lavendar (Ohio State), Nnemkadi Ogwumike (Stanford) and Courtney Vandersloot (Gonzaga).
