A novel solution to the Mideast conflict

I think the United States missed a great opportunity to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict when we recently were entertaining statehood for Puerto Rico.

Why didn't we add Israel into the mix and offer it statehood? If Israel gained statehood and became the 51st state, think of the possibilities.

As a state, it could quickly follow the example of New London's eminent domain case. The issue of illegally taking Palestinian homes and encroaching on their property would be solved. Israel could take over their land legally, in one fell swoop.

The possibilities would be endless. It would make it so much easier for our government to meddle in - ah, just imagine - oh, the military operations.

    Who could we invade next?
