Since the election, I have received 14 letters from charitable organizations, soliciting contributions. I have returned each one with the following note inside.

On Nov. 6 the American people voted to have a government that takes care of their every need. They voted to vilify anyone who has worked hard and made a good life for themselves. Therefore I will no longer be making contributions to any organization except The Wounded Warriors. Our veterans have given so much, ask for so little, and deserve so much more; all others can solicit President Obama or Gov. Malloy since they will be taking any disposable funds I may have had. Please remove my name from your mailing list.
