    Learn to Row With SCRC

We offer learn to row and competitive programs for youth through adults.

Southeastern CT Rowing Club is in it's 2nd year of operation and we are pleased to announce our March Programs as well as our new website at www.rowscrc.org. Indoor Learn to Row Sessions are held at our indoor rowing facility: Race Pace, 5 Davis Road, Old Lyme, CT and our Outdoor Learn to Row Sessions are held at: Three Bells Marina, located at 113 Oswegatchie Hills Road, Niantic, CT. We also offer JV and Varsity competitive programs for Middle School and High School Students, P.E field trips to our indoor facility, in-school P.E Classes, community outreach, Summer Adult Rec and a Master’s program for experienced adults.

Saturday 90 min Intro to Rowing Drop-Ins are held at Race Pace in Old Lyme from 11-12:30pm and are $20. Aimed as an intro to the sport without the commitment but is considered a stepping stone to one of our Learn to Row Sessions (Usually people get pretty hooked!). This is a family orientated class and we encourage all ages, especially families and friends to come together! Groups of 3 or more get 20% off!

Indoor Learn To Row Sessions are Tuesday and Thursday for 2 weeks and are held between March 5th-25th for $50. Juniors are 3:30-4:30pm and Adults are from 6:30-7:30pm.

Outdoor Learn to Row Sessions are Tuesday and Thursday for 2 weeks and being April 30th throughout the summer for $100. Spring-Summer, Adults remain at the same time, Juniors Program moves onto a Summer Camp set up.

Summer Youth Learn to Row Camp are Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am-12pm for 2 weeks at $150, begining July 9th. Students can sign up for multiple weeks at a discounted rate (as with all our programs) and after 2 sessions (1 month), students can row with our junior development team.

Adult Rec is for adults with previous experience from Learn to Rows, High School or Collegiate rowing that would like to get back into rowing but not at the commitment level of the Masters Program. This program will be directed and overseen my Amanda Sibley and will be Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 6-7:30pm at $175/month.

Junior Development, Varsity and Masters are our competitive programs and practice year round, with open-enrollment. We encourage Middle School students who have rowing in their high school to get a head start by rowing with our Junior Development team and even more so students of high schools with no rowing program in place. Our Masters is a great program for adults 18+ that have gone through a Learn to Row Program, High School or Collegiate Rowing and wish to compete against other adults. Junior Development is Monday, Wednesday & Friday at $175/month. Varsity is Monday through Saturday at $250/month. Masters is Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday at $200/month. Each program has a discounted rate when paying multiple months upfront.

Private Lessons are held both on the water and in our indoor facility. $50/hr inside and $65/hr on the water.

Our rowing club not only boasts an excellent coaching staff that rowed in colleges such as Syracuse, Drexel, Uconn and Rutgers but some of the most influential members of the United States rowing community serve on our Board of Directors. Along with Summer Asst Coaches, SCRC coaches include Clai White as Head Coach and Executive Director; Candice Webb as the Learn to Row Coach and Program Coordinator; Amanda Sibley as the Learn to Row Coach and Mike Shugrue as the Summer Competitive Coach.

Please feel free to email the coaches at coaches@rowscrc.org and check out our website at www.rowscrc.org for more information.
