Public meeting on Westerly Hospital sale is March 27
Westerly – The R.I. Department of the Attorney General and Department of Health will host a public informational meeting March 27 about the proposed sale of The Westerly Hospital to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.
The meeting will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the middle school, 10 Sandy Hill Road.
Written comments about the proposed transaction will be received until 4 p.m. April 3 at: Jodi Bourque, Health Care Advocate, Department of Attorney General, 150 South Main St., Providence, R.I. 02903; and at: Michael Dexter, chief, Office of Health System Development, Department of Health, Three Capitol Hill, Room 404, Providence, R.I. 02908.
