State Police have found a missing child alert for a 15-month-old Norwich boy who was last seen with his grandmother on Saturday. Police said they found the pair, who were uninjured, in Montville but released no other details.  

Deiondre Douchette-Pina was last seen with his grandmother Tonya Douchette, 46, who may have been driving a green 1995 Dodge Dakota pickup bearing CT registration 499OCO.

State Police Capt. Thomas Garbedian said Douchette picked up the boy from his parents' house in Norwich at 9 p.m. Saturday night. The boy was supposed to stay with her overnight, he said, but there was no set time when she was supposed to return him to his parents today.

Deiondre's parents called state police around noon today after a family member, concerned about a phone conversation she had with Douchette this morning, contacted the parents. Garbedian declined to name the family member or the nature of the conversation, but said the parents were concerned for the child's safety.

Douchette was convicted in the 2003 death of a 34-year-old Plainfield woman who was a passenger in Douchette's car when it struck a stone wall in Preston. Police found vodka bottles, heroin and needles inside the car. Douchette was convicted of negligent homicide with a motor vehicle and sentenced to six months in prison which was suspended after she served 30 days. She also received two years probation.

Douchette also has convictions for reckless driving (2010), use of drug paraphernalia (2004) and breach of peace (2004 and 2010).
