Arlington, Texas — Shabazz Napier scored 22 points as UConn won its fourth NCAA men's basketball championship with a 60-54 win over Kentucky on Monday night at AT&T Stadium.
After allowing UConn to build a 30-15 lead, the young Wildcats closed with a rush and trailed 35-31 at halftime. But despite poor shooting and some untimely turnovers, UConn never surrendered the lead in the second half and helped itself by shooting 10-for-10 from the foul line.
