2 rare orange lobsters given to Mystic Aquarium
Mystic - Mystic Aquarium has announced that it has welcomed two rare orange lobsters to its collection. The lobsters were donated to the aquarium Thursday by Stop & Shop supermarkets in Killingly and Colchester.
The Aquarium said that according to University of Maine research, the chance of finding an orange lobster is one in 30 million. Color variations are rare in the wild and are in order of increasing rarity - blue, orange, yellow, calico and white.
