The Mystic region is certainly on the right track. 

An excellent job was done on the road updates on High Street in Mystic and keeping the Central Hall Project moving in the right direction. I think it would be great if Groton and the Department of Transportation looked into updating: 

1. The Route 1 entrance to Downtown Mystic (near The Baptist Church). It’s time to reconsider leaving the jersey barriers and cement dividers. 

2. The I-95 Scenic Overlook. This is an incredible site. However, the current signage and overall appearance need attention. 

3. Finally, the River Road gem − where the community hosts events, runs, walks and bikes and enjoys its scenic beauty − also needs attention. The overall road condition and dirt cut outs could look much more pleasing with professional review.
