Latin superstar Victor Manuelle performs Sunday at Foxwoods

There's only one thing annoying about Victor Manuelle, the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter who's an perpetual presence on the Billboard Latin charts. Manuelle's music is so indigenously infectious that listeners in our neck of the woods are constantly reminded we're NOT someplace tropical and are, instead, disturbingly close to Hartford and Bridgeport.

Well, that's reality. One solution? Hop on a cruise ship. Or maybe better: see Manuelle when he performs Sunday in the Grand Theater at Foxwoods.

Now a quarter-century into his career, Manuelle has recorded four multi-platinum albums, scored 46 hit singles, and won or been nominated for 16 Latin Grammys. Manuelle recently released "25/7," a new recording featuring duets with Bad Bunny, Farruko, Juan Luis Guerra, Gilberto Santa Rosa and Yandel & Glenn Monroig.

Expect to see and hear highlights from "25/7" and, naturally, a riverine flow of big hits including "Imaginar" and "Mala y Peligrosa."

Victor Manuelle, 7 p.m. Sunday, Grand Theater, Foxwoods; $55-$125; 1-800-200-2882.
