30 summer school graduates receive Norwich Free Academy diplomas

Norwich — A second 2018 graduation ceremony was held Friday at Norwich Free Academy, for 30 summer school students who received their diplomas in Slater Auditorium.

Head of School David Klein awarded diplomas, and Roy Wentworth, director of the Summer Credit Recovery program, conferred them. Science teacher Matthew Jacobs delivered the commencement address, and Leslie Lane Christie, NFA Alumni Association president, welcomed the graduates as NFA’s newest alumni.

Graduating were Dylan Javier Barcena, Kyra Keona Boyd, Elahn Lotus Brown, Luke Michael Brown, Michelle Marie Cernas-Rodriguez, John Angel Diaz, Alta Himarley Jehmika Doresty, April Louise Eiss, David Sherwood Esposito, Kaylee Anna Fernandez, Nicole Tony Fontaine, Woodmia Jean-Marie, Slinder Joseph, Brandon Martinez, Miguel Angel Medina, Gabrielle Betina Merritt, Julia Mae White Horse Piper, Maranda Jane Popham, Christian Jose Quintana, Jeffrey Reck, Bryan Ezequier Rentas O’Conner, Pierce Eugene Roberts, Vicente Rodriguez, Elijah Rekuaon Sanchez, Kristian Jordan Nicolas Sneddon, Jair Trigoso, Darlin Jessenia Tzampop Pop, Skylar Marie Velez, George Thrasivoulos Ververis and Xirui Wang.
