Florin provides superior court coverage for Day
I write in honor of Day staff writer and court reporter Karen Florin whom I've sat with in our Part A courthouse and also in GA-10.
Through the Buck, Michael Ross, Carpenter and other cases, what a great job she has done. She knows her job very well.
If there is something I don't get, she explains it to me. I have two sons who are court marshals, one a sergeant in our local courthouse, and it is why I'm in court for certain cases.
Karen has done a few stories on me because I'm there for different cases, most recently for the trial of the accused in the Joey Gingerella killing.
Reporters don't come any better. She deserves her recent honor of being named "journalist of the year." Thank God you have a reporter like her.
