Meiser recognized by chamber
Daniel Meiser, Mystic restaurateur, has been awarded the Joyce O. Resnikoff Award for Excellence in Tourism by the Mystic Chamber of Commerce.
Meiser has opened three restaurants in downtown Mystic, serves on the board to re-open a historic working farm in Stonington, and has helped to build an organization that employs over 200 people and supports local farmers, fishermen, and artisan purveyors. The restaurants are Oyster Club, opened in 2011; Engine Room, 2013, and Grass & Bone, 2017.
He serves as Chairman of the Board of the Connecticut Restaurant Association and serves on the Board of the Connecticut Tourism Coalition, the Board at Stone Acres Farm, and the Advisory Council of New England Science and Sailing.
