Red Sox Winter Weekend returns to Foxwoods

It's been 81 days since the Boston Red Sox won the World Series, and spring training draweth nigh. What could be more fun that to experience the Sox' fifth annual Winter Weekend at Foxwoods Resort Casino?

From Friday through Sunday, most all of members of the championship roster not named Mookie Betts or David Price will be participating in various signing and appearance events. But don't be sad; Chris Sale, Andrew Benintendi, Jackie Bradley, Jr., Brock Holt, Rick Porcello, Rafael Devers, Craig Kimbrell, Joe Kelly and more will be there. Also on hand will be a sparkling line up of alums like David Ortiz, Freddie Lynn, Jim Rice, Pedro Martinez, Carlton Fisk, Tim Wakefield, Eck, Youk and Tek!

In addition to autographs and photo ops, there'll be panel discussions, a Family Fun Zone, kid clinics, a Town Hall Q&A with team brass — and basically an entire weekend of Red Sox-centric madness.

The bad news? It's sold out. But you never know. Give 'em a call. Hell, just lurk around the parking lot and see which star might drive up and say hello.

Red Sox Winter Weekend, 3 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, various facilities and venues, Foxwoods Resort Casino; sold out; 1-800-200-2882.
