Coast Guard Band cancels Sunday concert due to government shutdown

The Coast Guard Band has announced that, due to a lapse in funding for the Department of Homeland Security, the concert scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday in Leamy Hall on the U.S. Coast Guard Academy campus in New London has been cancelled.
There will be no public performances for the duration of the federal government shutdown.
