Dr. Allison D. Tuttle has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Animal Care at Mystic Aquarium. Tuttle has served in a variety of roles at the aquarium including Chief Veterinarian and most recently as Vice President of Biological Programs. In her new role as Senior Vice President, Tuttle will assume lead responsibility for all aspects of animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, water quality and dive safety. The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT will show guests how to “Tame the Time Wasters” at a workshop Wednesday, Feb. 20, 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Chamber’s office, 914 Hartford Turnpike, second floor, Waterford. The Greater Mystic Tourism Marketing Committee is hosting a series of familiarization tours (FAM TOURS) to build greater understanding of eastern Connecticut regional arts, culture and tourism attractions. Designed for hospitality professionals, the first of these ACT FAM TOURS will be held on Monday, Feb. 25, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., departing from the Spa at Norwich Inn, 607 West Thames St., Norwich.
