    Motorcyclist injured in East Lyme crash

    East Lyme -- Police say a motorcyclist was injured Saturday night in a crash on Route 156 near the Waterford town line.

    The motorcyclist was brought by ambulance to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and then flown by Life Star helicopter to Hartford Hospital after the 7:40 p.m. crash. No other vehicles were involved.

    Police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (860) 739-5900.
