Foxwoods reopening The Fox Tower hotel, keno, race book

Mashantucket — Foxwoods Resort Casino is reopening parts of the property that had been closed amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Fox Tower hotel will begin accepting reservations Friday for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, and will close at 2 a.m. on Mondays. Safety measures in place at the hotel include marked social distancing, plexiglass barriers at check-in and adherence to cleaning and sanitizing protocols with particular attention to high-touch items like switches, handles and knobs, telephones, remotes, bedding and surfaces, according to the casino.

As of Thursday, keno and the Ultimate Race Book, in new locations adjacent to the Bingo Hall, are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Safety protocols are in place, including numerous hand-sanitizing stations and a mandate that customers wear masks.
