Thank God Charles Darwin is one of the science, truth and fact "weenies"! Seriously, Cal Thomas, are you stuck intellectually in the fourth grade, “DeSantis is standing up to Biden and the other ‘weenies,’” (Aug. 10)?

The failure of folks like you, Trump, DeSantis and other selfish extremists to acknowledge the reality of COVID-19 and its delta variant (and other, more virulent, and deadly variants that are sure to come because of your selfish arrogance) will hopefully result in your permanent removal from a society that you obviously do not grant one iota of consideration to. Also, how do you, without hypocrisy, explain how it is that Trump and DeSantis are both fully vaccinated against the virus despite their dismissiveness of its seriousness?

Yo cannot understand this because you are not a "man"; for, to be a man is, precisely, to be responsible. It is to feel shame at the sight of unnecessary and unjustified misery. It is to take pride in a victory won by one's fellow citizens. It is to feel that one is positively contributing to the betterment of one's community. With luck, Mr. Darwin's theory, with the help of the delta variant and others, will soon remove your malodorous presence
