Three Rivers to hold open house on short-term career training programs
Norwich — Three Rivers Community College will hold an open house on Jan. 12 from 5 to 6 p.m. for people interested in its short-term, non-credit career training programs, which begin in January and run through April. They will be held in room B127.
The allied health programs include American Heart Association Basic Life Support, Central Sterile Processing, Certified Nurse Aide, Dental Assisting Program, Dementia Care, EKG Technician with AHA BLS Certification, Intro to Medical Cannabis, Personal Care Aide Program, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, and Veterinary Assistant.
The business and real estate courses are Amazon Web Services Academy, Business Leadership Series (live remote), Introduction to Commercial Drones and Cloud Connected Drone Operations (both online), Project Management Foundations (live remote), and Real Estate Principles and Practices.
The manufacturing programs are Outside Machinist, Shipfitting and Welding.
Three Rivers staff will be on hand Jan. 12 to answer questions about these programs, registration, financial aid and more.
