New London ― Karen Mitchill, of Waterford, had a half day at work Friday and decided to surprise her son, Sam Beaulieu, 5, and picked him up early from preschool.
Sam has been asking to go to Ocean Beach Park a lot lately. Mitchill thinks it’s because they have been talking about spring at preschool, so she they went to the beach.
