    RIBBON CUTTING

    A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held to celebrate the renovation of Muddy Waters Cafe, Feb. 13, 10-11 a.m. The event is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of Eatern Connecticut.

    EVENTS

    The Connecticut Sun will host a golf tournament to benefit the Connecticut Sun Foundation May 11 at the Mohegan Sun Golf Club, 7 Dows Lane, Baltic. Registration for the event will open on Monday, Feb. 13.

    GIVING

    Bob’s Discount Furniture has partnered with the New York Giants to deliver 50 Bob-O-Pedic Gem Hybrid mattresses to the United States Coast Guard Officer Candidate School in New London. Ottis Anderson, two-time New York Giants Super Bowl Champion and Super Bowl MVP, assisted cadets and Bob’s delivery team with delivery.
