On Dec. 9, The Hearth at Tuxis Pond hosted a Holiday Party and Wreath event, which featured a silent auction with all proceeds going to Operation: Music Aid, a local charity that purchases and donates musical instruments to wounded servicemen and women to aid in their recovery. Undecorated wreaths were provided to local businesses and residents and more than 45 were returned, beautifully decorated and displayed through the halls of The Hearth. The event raised close to $1,000 which will be used to purchase many instruments.
