Job fair sponsored by The Day Sept. 7 at Hilton Mystic
The Day is sponsoring a free Regional Job Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at the Hilton Mystic, 20 Coogan Blvd., Mystic.
The job fair allows prospective employees to connect with employers from around the region and beyond. Job seekers will find a wide range of employment opportunities, in healthcare, banking, food services, education, sales and many others.
Some of the employers who will be on site include Chelsea Groton Bank, Hall Communications, General Dynamics Electric Boat, Groton Public Schools, LEARN, Convanta, Access Health CT, Apple Rehab, Masonicare, Foxwoods Resort Casino, Mohegan Sun, The Whaler’s Inn & Shipwright’s Daughter, US Foods, American Job Center and Bureau of Rehabilitation Services.
Also on board are Department of Labor, Department of Labor Veterans Affairs, Groton Public Library, Human Resource Leadership Association, The Fleet and Family Support Center, US Naval Base, Bulldog Fire Apparatus, Davis Standard, Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut, The Day and The Arc Eastern Connecticut.
