    CT Sun open playoffs next Thursday

    The Connecticut Sun open the 2012 playoffs next Thursday night against New York at Mohegan Sun Arena. Game time is 8 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN2.

    The best-of-three series moves to New York Saturday night at 7 (NBA TV) and the if-necessary game will be Monday in Uncasville at 7 (NBA TV).

    The Sun won the Eastern Conference regular season title. New York finished fourth. Connecticut won the season series 4-1.
