Parker leads West to win in WNBA All-Star Game

Mohegan - Los Angeles' Candace Parker scored a game-high 23 points with 11 rebounds to earn MVP honors as she led the West past the East, 102-98, at Saturday's WNBA All-Star Game before a sellout crowd of 9,323 at Mohegan Sun Arena.
Kristi Tolliver of Los Angeles scored 21 for the West and former UConn star Maya Moore (Minnesota) scored 14.
Ivory Latta of Washington and Chicago's Epiphanny Prince both scored a team-high 15 for the East. Connecticut's Tina Charles had 10 points and seven rebounds and Allison Hightower added six points and four assists.
